About

The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists working on thermal analysis and polymer dynamics, using techniques based on time-temperature dependences of thermal transitions and relaxations and their interpretations.

  • Fast Chip Calorimetry (FCC)

  • Advanced thermal analysis

    Advanced topics in thermal analysis using DSC and FCC, such as the glass transition, kinetics of non-equilibrium in the glassy state (physical aging), isothermal crystallization kinetics, polymerization kinetics, and related topics.

  • In situ techniques

    Techniques that can be compared with calorimetry performed at identical scanning rates, such as SAXS/WAXS, FTIR, and Polarized Light Optical Microscopy (PLOM).

  • Dielectric relaxation

    Broadband dielectric relaxation spectroscopy as a function of temperature and time.

  • Mechanics & deformation

    Correlation between mechanical properties and deformation mechanisms as a function of temperature with in-situ techniques (WAXS, SAXS).
